##  SPEAKER: Katrin Kogman-Appel, University of Munster, GERMANY

 Professor for Jewish Studies at the University of Münster, Germany. Previously taught at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (1996–2015). Research and published work on medieval Jewish art and book culture, with particular interest in Hebrew manuscript illumination and its cultural and social contexts.
