## Speaker: Ross Andersen, *The Atlantic*

Ross Andersen is a staff writer at *The Atlantic*, where he covers cosmic questions of all kinds. He was previously the deputy editor of the print magazine. His recent writing has focused on topics such as the Nancy Grace Roman Telescope, the Artemis II mission, and the plight of NASA's science missions under the Trump administration. He has reported from Greenland, Russia, India, Pakistan, China, South Korea, and Japan. He is also the author of *The Long Search*, a book about the search for extraterrestrial life, forthcoming from Random House.
