## SPEAKER: Brad Harmon, Johns Hopkins University

Brad Harmon will speak about translation, translators... and the people out there who at times \*don't\* like them. Q&amp;A will follow!

Brad Harmon translates from Swedish, other languages, and German; his recent work includes Katarina Frostenson’s *The Space of Time* (Threadsuns, 2024) and Lív Maria Róadóttir Jaeger’s *I Write on Wet Paper* (Francis Boutle, 2025). He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Johns Hopkins University.
