###  About the Speakers

 Born in London, **[Hari Kunzru](https://www.harikunzru.com)** is the author of the novels *[The Impressionist](https://shop.harvard.com/book/9780452283978)*, *[Transmission](https://shop.harvard.com/book/9780141008295)*, *[My Revolutions](https://shop.harvard.com/book/9780452290020)*, *[Gods Without Men](https://shop.harvard.com/book/9780241143117)*, and *[White Tears](https://shop.harvard.com/book/9781101973219)*, as well as a short story collection, *[Noise](https://shop.harvard.com/book/9780451493712)* and a novella, *Memory Palace*. His most recent novel *[Red Pill](https://shop.harvard.com/book/9780451493712)* was published in September 2020. He is an honorary fellow of Wadham College Oxford, and has received fellowships from the Cullman Center at the New York Public Library, the Guggenheim Foundation and the American Academy in Berlin. He is the host of the podcast *[Into The Zone](https://www.pushkin.fm/show/into-the-zone/)* from Pushkin Industries. He lives in New York City.

 **[Duncan White](https://scholar.harvard.edu/dew/home)** is Associate Director of Studies in History &amp; Literature at Harvard University. His most recent book is *Cold Warriors: Writers Who Waged the Literary Cold War.*
