Since openly from 2015 identifying as a woman, she has published two books on the transgender and femininity theme, <em>Man-Made Woman: The Dialectics of Cross-Dressing</em> (2017, Pluto Press) and <em>The Future is Feminine: Capitalism and the Masculine Disorder</em> (2021, Bloomsbury Academic). She is an editor for the Duke University Press journal, <em>Transgender Studies Quarterly</em>.</p>
