Her new book, <em><a href="https://shop.harvard.com/book/9781954118461" title="">The Comfort of Crows: A Backyard Year</a></em>, was released in October 2023. Renkl is contributing opinion writer for <em>The New York Times</em>, where her essays appear each Monday.
