DESCRIPTION:<h2><a href="/rethinking-translation">RETHINKING TRANSLATION</a></h2><h2>SPEAKER:&nbsp;<span>Susannah Wright and Scott McGill, Rice University</span></h2><p><span>Translators and classicists Susannah Wright and Scott McGill will workshop translations in progress by Harvard students in this session, open to observation by the public.&nbsp;</span></p><h3><span>About the Speakers</span></h3><p><span><strong>Susannah Wright</strong> is an assistant professor of classical studies and Roman history at Rice University; she received her Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2024. <strong>Scott McGill </strong>is Deedee McMurtry Professor in Humanities at Rice University.
