RETHINKING TRANSLATION

We will gather to celebrate book-length works translated by Harvard faculty and Ph.D. students in 2024. Attendees can participate in a raffle for free copies of works being read. Our guests will include David Damrosch, translator of Georges Ngal's Giambatista Viko; Gregory Nagy, translator/author of Sappho II: Version Beta; Annabel Kim, translator of Céline Minard's Plasmas; Lara Norgaard, translator of Sabda Armandio's 24 Hours with Gaspar; Luke Leafgren, translator of Nasser Abu Srour's Tale of a Wall; Adam Mahler, translator of Shem Tov Ardutiel's Moral Proverbs; Daniel Aguirre Oteiza; Jeffrey Schnapp, translator of Bruno Munari’s Fantasy; Alex Braslavsky, translator of Zuzanna Ginczanka's On Unicorns and Other Poems; and Spencer Lee-Lenfield, translator of Shin Hae-uk's Biologicity. (This list may expand to include others!).
