SPEAKER: Maria Zymara, PhD Candidate, Department of Comparative Literature, Harvard University

This talk situates Seferis within the broader context of modernity, arguing that his engagement with it–the opportunities it entails, as well as its anxieties– reveals a distinctly gendered approach to literary form.
