Brad Harmon will speak about translation, translators... and the people out there who at times *don't* like them. Q&A will follow!

Brad Harmon translates from Swedish, other languages, and German; his recent work includes Katarina Frostenson’s The Space of Time (Threadsuns, 2024) and Lív Maria Róadóttir Jaeger’s I Write on Wet Paper (Francis Boutle, 2025). He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Johns Hopkins University.
